MATERIALS
What We Cast
Every piece is shaped by the material you choose. Here's what we work in.
Stainless Steel
304 stainless steel is the atelier's most-used material, resistant to moisture, salt, and time. Left as it comes out of the cast, it carries a raw, matte texture; electropolished, it's chemically polished to a mirror-like shine; or coated black for a deeper, quieter character. A requested custom color is also possible.
Resin-Metal Composite
Resin-metal composite is what we turn to for pieces that call for something lighter and more flexible than the weight of stainless steel. We don't offer raw or electropolish finishes on this material; instead, we achieve a rich surface with metallic paint, a black coating, or a requested custom color.
Bronze
Bronze is the oldest material in casting, one that writes its own story over time. Left raw, it carries the warm tone of the cast; it can be electropolished, coated black, or produced in a requested custom color. But what makes bronze truly special is patina, a finish that mimics the natural oxidation that forms over time, lending every piece an antique character.
Aluminum
Aluminum is noticeably lighter than stainless steel or bronze, our choice for larger-scale objects or pieces where portability matters. Left raw it carries the natural texture of the cast, or it can be coated black or produced in a requested custom color.
Steel
Steel offers a more economical option than stainless steel, cast with the same investment-casting care. It can be left raw, electropolished, coated black, or produced in a requested custom color.
